I was born in the Mekong Delta, so Ho Chi Minh City is very special to me because it was the first place where I took my steps toward becoming an adult. Besides that, Ho Chi Minh City has preserved many architectural buildings from the French colonial period and carries a heroic history, marked by the struggles against the French and the US to gain independence in 1975.
