Traveling alone may seem boring but actually, it always brings you exciting moments that you will never forget. Of course, traveling with our family, lover, or friends is much easier because whatever happens in the trip, there will be someone to help you.
Yet everything’s gonna be so different when taking a trip on your own, and there’s one thing for sure that you will have to face difficulties coming unexpectedly. It sounds tough, but do not worry, because you will grow up and get to know more about yourself.
People who have not yet or are preparing for their own trip, are always wondering “How to take pictures when we are alone?”. No problems, we have some ideas for you!
Tripod, better known as camera or smartphone holder will be an excellent choice if you want to have cute and amazing photos along the trip. There are many types and forms of tripod in the market that are suitable for multiple settings.
Tubudd recommends you not to buy low-price tripod. If you are willing to buy cameras and smartphones with a very high price, why don’t you put those things on a proper device? Imagine a wind blows around, and your tripod is not strong enough to carry your devices. Boom… guess you can figure out what comes next!
#2 Remote Shutter
After having yourself a tripod, you realize there is no one can press the button of the camera or smartphone for you. That is why you also need a remote control to do so. If the tripod is considered your left hand which takes responsible for holding the devices then the remote shutter will be the right one which helps you to have pictures you want.
If you are looking for perfect frames and shots of film, then GoPro is the best choice to take the sky, seas, trees, bungee jumps,… everything into memories.
Small but useful, GoPro can stand well under water, and easily connect to smartphones. Not only that, thanks to the fish-eye technology, GoPro has a wide range of frame which helps you to take everything in front of your eyes into your pictures and videos. In addition, GoPro is able to film in multiple settings which allows you to choose the best way suited with your needs.
#4 Using Timer
Every smartphones nowadays have a timer included and allow you to choose many options of timing. You can set timer in 10s, 5s, 2s or manual fitted with the conditions
There is a function attached with timer is continuous shooting which means you can take 3-5 pictures in a row after the set-up time. This is a perfect way if you want to have yourself “jumping shots”
The only disadvantage of the timer is that you need to run as fast as you can to be in front of your phone right before the time ends. I guess it is not a big deal, right? Like a little warm-up to “get high”. Kidding!
#5 Asking a stranger
You may find those ideas above a bit money-wasting and not effective then there is one way “cheaper” and also the best idea – is to ask for help from a stranger. Traveling is not just about seeing things and experiencing significant landscapes around. If you want to fully feel the beat of where you are going, you need to put yourself in the life there
Photos indeed can keep beautiful moments, but it will be much better with local friends involved. Traveling alone does not mean you are lonely. I am sure that you will be surprised if you are open with the local.
The only thing that matters is communicating. Don’t be shy, just tell them exactly what you want in your photos. You also need to ensure everything is set perfectly so that the guy only has to press the button.
Hit the language barrier? Don’t worry, use your body language, and don’t forget to smile. Believe us, you will realise the only language that the whole share together is smiling
